The parliamentary committee of environment protection has requested the Minister of Environment Protection to find the real cause of the pollution of Kenyérmezei brook and the persons responsible for it until September 15, 2005. In the canal at Esztergom there have been found recently pollutants again similar to those found last year in the sewer of the French company which operates an incinerator of hazardous waste.

The authorities have filed a report about unknown criminals. Zoltán Illés MP (Fidesz) claims the authorities act in collusion with Onyx Ltd as it is easy to identify the source of the pollution while the head of the environment supervision says it is possible only in the case of a major pollution to find the source. The authorities found and stopped six illegal sewers last year and they do not exclude the possibility of the existence of more such sewers.
